Hi, I’m Erin!

Welcome, friends, to my adventures and lessons learned being an amateur eventer in USEA Area III.

My mission is to find out the details so you can simply go have fun with your horse without the worry!

I’m am the friend who is always waving in videos and inserting sound effects where they may or may not belong *woohoo!* I have had a love for all things horse since my grandfather put me on a pony named Snowflake when I was only 2 years old. I became totally horse obsessed like many young girls do, but my version was slightly more crazed, definitely more neurotic . Things escalated quickly from there, with my parents putting me in Centered Riding lessons with a local trainer where I learned how to become a true partner with my sweet old quarter horse, Sparky, who my grandfather referred to as “old crow-bait.” Well, that “old crow-bait” took me through shows and overnight trail rides around the southeast, and was the absolute best teacher and babysitter to foster my completely unhinged obsession of all things horse. Since then I’ve had many perfect horses (aren’t they all???), switched disciplines a few times, and took a long hiatus from riding as a young adult while I figured out how to finance my horse addiction.

Now, I live in North Florida and am blessed with access to some of the best riding in the United States. I love adventuring to places all over north and central Florida with my adult ammy friends, looking for trouble *margaritas* and fun places to ride. I ended up here by fate and never actually planned to move to Florida, but sometimes life presents you with the craziest opportunities so I am going to live out this crazy adult ammy dream for as long as I can!
